As a part of my New Year’s resolution, I decided that I wanted to try something new. I’m a big fan of writing to do lists and for a while now, jewellery design has been on this list. So, in January, I finally bit the bullet and decided to sign up for a beginners class. A quick Google search led me to NorthCity4. A local community of teachers and students. I signed up and away I went.
Here are some images from my first class. A lot of these tools and processes are already familiar to me as I’ve spent quite a few years tinkering in workshops amongst power tools and so on. It is nice to understand how they all fit in to the jewellery design process.
It was nice to be getting my hands dirty again after all this time.
