Tribalism African Drumming February 2012 – Adrian and Class perform Kassa

The first Tribalism started the year off with a bang. Students and people from all over Melbourne who were eager to hear West African Rhythms flocked to the Central Club Hotel in Richmond.

Tribalism African Drumming - August 2011

Tribalism African Drumming August 2011 Baga Ginea

After a long break, we got the band back together so to speak, for some more hot Djembe ryhthms at Tribalism August 2011. Held in St Kilda at the Tongue and Groove, we were loud and kept the pace cranking. It was a big turn out and a fun night as usual.

My group and I performed Baga Ginea. The other students performed their songs, the African Dancing girls did their thing, Sackey had a solo dance off and Ouaga owned it at the end of the night. Read more
